Phoenix among Dragon-chapter 1

Chapter One: Fallen tears
A little girl crying in the arms of her sitter and the young woman trying to calm the child. The woman continues to rock the crying baby in her arm, humming as she thought would help.
"Now I should be back by eleven." Another woman said as she walked in the room and kissed the child's forehead then turned around finished buttoning up her uniform, then left.
"Sh..sh…now now." The sitter said as she started to rock the crying baby back and forth while humming again. The child calmed down, slowly drifty asleep. The sitter walks into the nursery to lay the now sleeping child down, the sitter takes one last look before walking out. The night's thick air curled in circles bringing in the slow moving storm.
The thick chilling fog has someone within, as he watched the sleeping baby. Before he opened the child's window, he looked once more to the other window seeing the babysitter reading a book. He moved back to the window, opening it slowly as he entered just as silently. The clouds roared, as light filled the sky. The stranger took the sleeping baby wrapping her in a blanket as he carried her in the dark shady weather.
*Three years later*
It's been three years to this moment that the once crying child now inside of a tube being experimented on with one other girl around her age, the child opens her eyes to see out of the glass tubing a man with a white coat and glasses looking at her. The breathing unit mask over her face allowing her to breathe under the water like liquid. The liquid slowly drains from the tube, the mask came to a rapid stop.
The girl stirred and shivered as the strange man for as long as she could remember wrapped a towel around her little body and picked her up. The man placed her on the cold solid like bed, ready to strap her down. Once he tied the restraints around her waist, the man moved to the other tube releasing the liquid and wrapping the other little three year old girl. He brought the other girl to the other like bed and placed her down, when sudden alarming sounds played around making the said man jump. The other young girl stirred out of the mysterious man's arms, she jumped off running to the other girl trying to release the first girl.
The second girl unable to release took off running as many people appeared, she stumbled out the back door. Dropping to her knees from breath, she stand suddenly and bumps right into someone dropping back down. The second girl jumps feeling something wrap around her small body. She looked up seeing a man with red eyes, white hair and a noticeable mark on his face in the shape of am 'X'. He smiled down at the girl as people chased them in the alley way, this man soon sits the girl on her feet pointing to a near by restaurant. She nod in understanding racing across the street and running directly into this time two other's.
"Are you alright?" The woman asked seeing the girl fallen on her behind, no words came from the child's mouth on she could do was nod.
"Honey look, she must be freezing." The woman said to the man she was standing with.
"Yes, do you have a family?" The man soon asked the little girl, she looks down.
"Shane I don't think she does. Can we?" The woman asked the man, he pushes up his glasses then lifts the girl in his arms.
"Yes since she looks like she needs us." He replied hugging the girl, the second girl soon closes her eyes falling asleep in the man's arms. Unknown to this child the same man with the distinctive mark across his face watched the woman and man knowing the little child would be safe with them, he watches them walk off smiling to himself as he walks deep back with in the alley way.
*Back with the first child*
Just moments after the once crying child found her way out she finds a box near a park, opening it she lays inside and soon falls asleep. The girl feels warmth touching her cold cheeks, she parts her eyes only just to see a man looking at her. She jumps back as he reaches in pulling her out, he watches as she struggles crying on like an animal scared. He takes his coat off wrapping the child inside of it then lifts her up again, she snuggles deep inside looking at the man holding her closely and she too soon fell asleep in his arms.
